I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous Summer! One of my favourite things to do in the Summertime (or ever, period.) is to spend a day at the beach - I just love it!! I find it very relaxing and inspirational. I always have to be dragged out of the water, even though I like to just sit and soak up the sun too with a good magazine. I even learned how to surf once (little-known fact)!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this post. it's making me ache for summer and wish that there was a special beach reserved just for people who want to wear vintage-style swimsuits. there'd be old music playing and a retro ice cream truck. sydney has hundreds of beaches, surely we can make this happen!
ReplyDeleteI have a big poster of the vintage surfer girls from an exhibition at the National Archives of Australia. it was all photos, videos and artefacts celebrating Australia's beach culture over the last hundred years. It's my favourite exhibition they've done!
